Group 61 has applied to become incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. We are awaiting this to be effected.

The Model Rules, as set out by the Office of Fair Trading, have been chosen as the rules for the incorporated body.

Group 61 is made up of the volunteers the Friends being supported and members from the community.

There is no membership fee.

If you wish to be a community member please contact us.

The Management Committee meets monthly to ensure Group 61 operates in line with government standards of service and the latest developments in mental health care.

General Meetings are held quarterly.

The Prince Charles Hospital has appointed a liaison person to the group. The Liaison person is a member of the Management Committee.
